For all the games out there that have sequels and spin-offs, the Bubble Bobble series has more than it’s far share. The original game was ported to many system, but the NES actually got two separate sequels. One of them, Rainbow Islands, was a true sequel taking place after the events of Bubble Bobble. Then there’s this one, which is actually more of a remake than a true sequel. Not to mention that other consoles and arcades themselves have other games acting as sequels. Could they have made it any more confusing.
Bubble Bobble Part 2 for the NES was developed by ITL and published by Taito in 1993.
