This is one of those games that you own just so you can say, “I own Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy”. Beyond that it’s kind of a mediocre shoot’em up. Actually you might want this game if you’re a shoot’em up collection because it could possibly be the only horizontal shoot’em up on the system. There might be another, but if there is, I’m certainly unaware of it. The other bizarre thing about this game it’s explotation of furry animals in the supporting roles. I suspect the developers saw Star Fox for the SNES and thought that a shooter with furry animals would make for a successful game.
Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy for the Jaguar was developed and published by Atari in 1993.
